Job Summary:
The Spa Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the spa operation within the hotel. This includes managing day-to-day operations, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving revenue targets, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. The Spa Manager will lead and motivate a team of spa professionals to deliver outstanding guest experiences and maximize revenue opportunities.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the daily operations of the spa, including scheduling, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
2. Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain new clients, while enhancing the loyalty of existing clients.
3. Monitor and analyze spa revenue and expenses, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost control measures.
4. Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute effective promotional campaigns to drive spa bookings and increase revenue.
5. Train, mentor, and motivate spa staff to deliver exceptional customer service and exceed guest expectations.
6. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and develop training plans to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.
7. Maintain a high level of cleanliness, hygiene, and operational excellence throughout the spa facility.
8. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including proper licensing and certification requirements.
9. Act as a point of contact for guest inquiries, resolving any issues or complaints promptly and to the guest's satisfaction.
10. Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and food and beverage, to ensure seamless operations and a cohesive guest experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in spa management, preferably within a hotel or resort setting.
3. In-depth knowledge of spa treatments, therapies, and products.
4. Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and managing budgets.
5. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
6. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and other stakeholders.
7. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
8. Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze financial reports and make data-driven decisions.
9. Proficient in using spa management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
11. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the operation.
